Understaffing at food company
The company is having problems recruiting technical personnel. Consequently, the Technical Department has trouble coping. This affects the continuity of business operations.
Our solution.
To this purpose the operators followed an additional in-service training program, which enabled them to solve simple basic technical problems themselves. However, if there is a malfunction they don’t know how to handle, they can explain the problem to the TD far better than before. This makes the process much more efficient thus alleviating the TD’s workload.
In addition, the company has received tips on further automation and improvement of the installations. Also, extra knowledge has been shared with the TD staff members enabling them to function at a higher level.
And last but certainly not least, AL Techniques has engaged its own network to find permanent or temporary employees for the company.
